DATAIX connects over 600 autonomous systems (ASNs), facilitating traffic exchange across 81 points of presence (PoPs) throughout Eurasia. Direct connections are available in Russia and the CIS, while access in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Sweden, Finland, Poland, and other European countries is provided via partner infrastructure.

Distributed

The geographically distributed DATAIX network is built on GlobalNet’s backbone infrastructure. Its tight integration with the backbone ensures low latency, stable connections, scalability, and cost-efficient traffic exchange through direct peering without intermediaries.

Despite its distributed architecture, DATAIX supports local traffic exchange between participants. Network capabilities allow operators to exchange traffic within the same city or even at a single switch level. With flexible routing policies, content providers can distribute traffic exactly where it is needed. This improves network efficiency and minimizes latency for end users.

Secure

DATAIX protects its participants from DDoS attacks with the IX DDoS Protection service, available free of charge. Powered by Arbor TMS, the system detects and filters malicious traffic, ensuring that only legitimate packets reach network participants. This enhances network stability and prevents service disruptions.

DATAIX Participants can configure filtering via route servers by allowing /32 prefixes with community 0:65500. On request, DATAIX can also provide traffic scrubbing not only for a targeted host but for the entire network segment.
