International The DATAIX peering platform connects over 620 ASNs from organizations including major ISPs and content generators from over 100 countries. Participants include companies from Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. This diverse community enables direct traffic exchange with global content platforms and ISPs, simplifying access to international markets and reducing dependency on transit providers. Unique traffic exchange conditions via European access points ensure high connectivity and shortened routes to key networks.

Distributed The geographically distributed DATAIX network is built on GlobalNet’s backbone infrastructure, ensuring low latency, stable connections, and high data transfer speeds. Deep integration of the IX with the backbone network guarantees direct interaction between participants without intermediaries, which is especially beneficial for fast inter-operator traffic exchange. DATAIX enables traffic exchange through 81 points of presence across Eurasia, including data exchange hubs in Russia and the CIS, as well as the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Sweden, Finland, Poland, and other European countries through a partner network. The distributed structure supports local connectivity among participants. Network parameters allow direct traffic exchange within the same segment or even within the same city.

How does it work?

Reserve a port for connection. Choose a city and data center, specify the connection parameters, and receive commercial terms.
Perform cross-connect. Download a ready-to-use LOA (Letter of Authorization) directly from the Personal Account and arrange the cross-connect with support from our engineers.
Test the service. After connecting, a 14-day trial period is available. Monitor traffic stats in the 'Service Parameters and Settings' section.
Sign the contract. Confirm service parameters after the test period and sign the contract online — without complicated procedures.

DATAIX points of presence are located in major Russian data centers, ensuring interaction between operators and content providers. Traffic is exchanged using the BGP protocol, allowing participants to exchange traffic directly between networks. Connecting to DATAIX reduces IP-Transit traffic acquisition costs. DATAIX is a modern traffic exchange technology that unites organizations with their own ASN into a single peering network. We build our traffic exchange network on the GlobalNet backbone infrastructure, enabling direct, intermediary-free data exchange, reducing latency, and improving connection reliability.
