BGP FlowSpec GlobalNet utilizes BGP FlowSpec protocol as a security measure to distribute traffic filtering rules throughout the network. It allows for both automatic and manual disabling of the protocols and packet types used for DDoS attacks. Arbor Customers can also take advantage of the Arbor software-hardware system that analyzes the traffic received based on customer-specific thresholds. Determining the type of attack, the system will automatically select the type of mitigation and protection.
